Fuel Adjustment Factor

The current rapid escalation of the fuel price since 1st August 2021, has necessitated us to change our strategy of not charging a fuel adjustment factor (FAF) to our customers. This change brings us into line with the rest of the industry.

The FAF will be adjusted at each month end to reflect the current fuel price compared to the base price at 1st August, this will then represent the FAF for the next month.

As from the 1st November, we will charge the FAF, if the current fuel price falls consistently back to that of the base price at 1st August, the FAF will be removed.

The FAF for the month of January 2022 is 2.9 %

The FAF for the month of December 2021 was 3.1%

The FAF for the month of November 2021 was 4.1%

The FAF will be applied to all transport related charges, except for when this relates to Supply & Deliver.

The FAF will show on the last line of your invoice before the Subtotal.
